A list I've put together, using the figures I (mostly) have.
PzGren Coy HQ (AT upgrade) 95
3 squad Plat 335 3 squad Plat 335
3 Panther A 560
3 Puma 165
Total 1490
Will this list work? It's all mounted, so it's good going forward but has no arty.

Ooooooo - its a delicate little flower, isn't it? What you've got is mobility and concentrated firepower and what you lack is resilience and redundancy. The lack of any artillery is a concern given that it limits your options for preparing assaults against infantry. Combined with the small platoon size I would find most assaults to be pant-eatingly tense affairs. The subsequent lack of smoke options is also a concern when facing tanks and other AT weapons as you could find your mobility limited by enemy fire arcs.
On a meta game level, you don't have many options for bluff. What I mean by that is, you're going to have to concentrate your forces to be effective but given the small size of your army its obvious where you are massing to attack during deployment.
My tips to use this force effectively (and bear in mind I'm no expert) would be the following:
1. Master bait and switch. Its obvious where your deployment is focussed but you've got the mobility to redeploy in game. Try to draw out your opponents big guns by massing opposite an objective that could give you the game early. Most players will either mass their forces to counter or spread out to cover all the bases. Both of these work for you. On the first turn, redeploy using your speeding tracks and hit your opponent hard in his proverbial familiy jewels.
2. Achieve local superiority. When you attack, attack hard with multiple assets against a poorly defended part of your opponents line. You're unlikely to outnumber your opponent across the table but your mobility allows you to outnumber him in one part of the table. For assaults bring up two platoons. One to provide covering fire, one to go in and give the enemy a kicking. The volume of fire power you put out should ensure pins against infantry and in the case of tanks, two platoons allows you a fall back if one fails their tank terror test.
3. Stall and counter. Whilst you're laying the smack down on one flank, your other flank is going to be short of manpower to counter any of your opponents thrusts. Here you need to master delaying tactics. One of your panzergrenadier platoons can hold off a sizeable force if you can use terrain to your advantage. Its imperative to remain mobile though, as soon as you commit to a fixed location your small size will doom you. The trick is to hold them off long enough for your firepower on your committed flank to achieve victory. Once that has been achieved you can use your mobility to counter attack with your remaining troops.
Hope that helps but feel free to ignore/disregard/mock any comments I've made!

Am considering dropping the Pumas and some inf to get a Wespe section. The selection being a bit light weight is a worry, but am just going with what I've got at the moment.

No, the panthers are what I'm doing the list for. I'm not 100% sure of the feel I want to go for with my Jerries, but I want to use kit that I really like. I'm planning to flip over to a Tank Coy, with Aufklarungs atachments as soon as I get more 250's.
